Legacy Giving
Legacy giving through your will, trust or other assets allows you to support your parish or ministry in the Diocese of Richmond that you care most about and make a lasting impact. We offer several giving options to assist families and individuals in making the right decision for them.
You can leave a legacy gift to support an existing endowment fund, or you can create a named endowment fund and specifically define the way you would like the fund to be used.
Financial assets that can be used to contribute to an existing endowment fund or establish a named endowment fund include:
- Bequest in your will
- Charitable gift annuity
- Charitable remainder trust
- Charitable lead trust
- Give it twice trust
- Life insurance plans
- Retirement plan beneficiary designations
- Sale and Unitrust
