3/2/2024 Email

A couple of years ago, we at the Catholic Community Foundation launched Facebook and
Instagram accounts. A member of my staff, Joy, is at the helm. She posts original content
and shares newsworthy posts found on the pages of schools, parishes, and ministries.
I’ll be honest, though, things have been slow to take off. What I mean is, we don’t have
many people checking our pages.
Conversely, each week, several thousand of you open my email, and I am so grateful.
So would you do me a favor? If you are on either Facebook or Instagram, or both, would you
Like and Follow us? You can find us by searching @RVACCF – if you put that in your search
engine, both social media accounts will come up. And if you do Like and Follow us, when
you check our pages and see something you want your contacts to know about, would you
hit the Share button?
While there are certainly cons to social media, it can be used as a force for good. I promise
we will do that.
In closing, I want to leave you this week with a picture from my front yard. Each year, our
cherry trees bloom, and both friends and casual acquaintances tell me how much they
love them. It’s my little Cherry Blossom Festival without having to leave home.
God Bless,
Margaret
