The Diocese of Richmond’s commitment to nurturing the next generation’s leaders through Catholic education has seen a remarkable achievement. Last fall’s Learn to Lead Special Collection amassed an impressive $339,932.47, directly benefiting diocesan Catholic schools. This initiative is a crucial part of the broader Learn to Lead campaign, launched in 2021 to support scholarships, teacher development, and grants for schools in need. Bishop Barry C. Knestout highlights the widespread support from the community, underscoring the ongoing necessity for contributions, especially towards the Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits program. This initiative has already facilitated over $14 million in funding, aiding more than 1,300 students in the 2021-2022 fiscal year.
