Keeping the Christmas

If only the basic principle of gravity applied to Christmas decorations, so that what goes up comes down naturally. Each year, after I first marvel at how many decorations actually went up, it seems like it takes longer for me to take them down, box them up, and put them back in the attic. In the grand scheme of things, this is a minor quibble, but it is what I will be spending my time doing this weekend.

It is in this context that I share something sent to me last weekend (yes, I have multiple pen-pals.)

What an apt reminder that Christmas isn’t just a day, and it doesn’t even need to just be a season, when we follow the example of Christ and reflect the light He brings to the world.

God Bless,

Margaret
