Toolkit for Pastors and Parish Staff Members

Thank you for visiting our toolkit for the 2024 Annual Diocesan Appeal. This page is designed for those who will be leading and conducting the effort at their parishes. This can include pastors, parish business managers, bookkeepers, and parish secretaries. As the Appeal develops, this site will be updated with key templates and messages to help you talk with parishioners about the importance of the effort.

2024 Appeal – Parish Sharing Check Schedule for Parishes

The parish sharing formula for the 2024 Appeal is the same as the 2023 Appeal and is as follows:

  • A non-mission parish receives 20% for anything collected up to the parish’s target and 50% for anything collected over target.
  • A mission parish continues to receive the same 50% back from the first dollar collected.

2024 Appeal Evergreen Ads

The evergreen and ministry ad images below are not tied to a specific weekend. This means you may choose to use them in any order you would like, but the important thing is you use them frequently to keep the Appeal in people’s minds. For the time being, we would suggest you put up a new image once a week (in complement with your latest announcement). We would also suggest you lean more towards the images in the Ministry Ads section as they have the QR code and link.
